Our Story

Cunninghair Naturals was born in September of 2020 while, one special day, contemplating the best skincare solutions for my son, who has eczema.  On that day, my little sister asked me, "Have you ever thought about making your own natural soap instead of buying soap? That way you will know what is in it and you can cater it specifically for his skincare needs."  Well, anyone who knows me knows that my son has always been my number one priority, so this was music to my ears.  However, making soap was something that I  had never thought about doing.  But, it brought back a unique memory from my childhood when we used to go visit my grandmother's friend, Ms. Mattie, who was also our landlord at the time.  I used to see her sink filled with soap she used to make.  This was an exciting new journey, and I couldn't wait to start.  So, my littlest sis, who is also a soap maker, walked me through the steps, we formulated a special recipe with all the special skin-loving ingredients that would benefit my son's sensitive skin with eczema in mind. AND THAT is when our first signature soap was born, "Soothing OPAL", one of or customer favorites.  Since then we have never looked back.  We have made it our mission to create and provide quality natural skincare products made with all natural ingredients that are good for your skin and for the environment.  All of our soaps, butters, scrubs, and other skincare products are made using high-quality natural ingredients and scented with natural essential oils.
